1. The EU Cities Mission Platform is offering peer-learning opportunities and access to online resources to all EU cities!

We are happy to tell you that the Cities Mission Platform is now expanding its support to all cities across Europe and countries associated with Horizon. This is a great opportunity for cities ambitioning to reach climate neutrality.

As part of the EU Cities Mission, the Mission Platform managed by NetZeroCities has been supporting 112 'Mission Cities' selected by the European Commission as they strive to reach climate neutrality by 2030. Building on this work, the Mission Platform is now extending peer-learning opportunities and access to online resources via the NetZeroCities Portal to all cities across Europe and Horizon-associated countries that are not part of the 112 Mission Cities but aim to advance towards climate neutrality.

This is a great opportunity to learn from the Mission Cities, drawing on their experiences and strategies to shape local approaches for climate neutrality, and to contribute to the broader European Green Deal goal of achieving a climate-neutral Europe by 2050. This includes access to peer-learning opportunities such as twinning programs and study visits with Mission Cities, as well as a suite of tools, resources and collaborative services through the NetZeroCities Portal.

These opportunities are open to cities at any stage of their climate-neutrality journey.

A dedicated helpdesk is available to help navigate the opportunities and tools available. To learn more, please follow NetZeroCities' step-by-step guide.

2. EU Mission on Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities – four new funding opportunities!
