- The
first session, will take a look at how the 2019 European Semester worked on the ground and will address the limits of a top-down approach to the Semester, also in the light of its broadening remits, now including giving guidance to ESI Funds and managing the Eurozone's forthcoming Budgetary Instrument for Convergence and Competitiveness.
- The
second session will discuss on how to refocus the Semester to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals as the long-term orientation for annual investment and reform priorities. It will also look at how could EU cities and regions be involved as partners in the Semester process.
- Speakers will include Commission's European Semester Officers active in some EU capitals, EU officials and representatives of associations of cities and regions and think tanks.
