The European Committee of the Regions and the European Commission are pleased to invite you to their joint Knowledge Exchange Platform event to take place linked to the European Research and Innovation Days, on Tuesday 22 June 2021, from 09:30 to 12:00, online.
The Knowledge Exchange Platform (KEP) provides twice a year an occasion of open exchange between the Commission and the Committee of the Regions' members on jointly selected topics. This year's first event focuses on the role of regions and cities in the European Research Area (ERA) and the opportunities arising from Horizon Europe.
The session will present the opportunities offered by Horizon Europe, in particular the vision of different European regions in the main Work Programmes. It will also discuss the strategic role of regions and cities in the new European Research Area, including through the ERA Hubs and their added-value for the development of regional ecosystems.
