On 18 and 19 October, the ECON Commission will hold its external meeting and conference in Wismar (DE) at the invitation of Tilo Gundlack (DE/PES), Member of the Landtag of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The meeting and conference are in-person only.
During the ECON meeting on 18 October, members will discuss and adopt two opinions, on:
- 2022 Annual Report on Competition Policy
Rapporteur: Antonio MAZZEO (IT/PES)
- EU Cyber Solidarity Act and Digital Resilience
Rapporteur: Pehr GRANFALK (SE/EPP)
In addition, members will hold a debate following the presentation of the CoR study: "Effective decentralisation in the context of the European Semester and beyond", by Sabine ZILLMER, lead author, partner, and head of the Berlin office, of Spatial Foresight.
On 19 October will take place a conference on " Strengthening Digital Resilience A precondition for successful digital transformation in EU Regions " co-organised by the ECON Commission and the Landtag of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
