The 19th meeting of the COTER commission was held on 6 June 2018 in Sofia (Bulgaria).
COTER members were invited to discuss and adopt the draft opinion on "Clean Ports, Clean Seas - Port reception facilities for the delivery of waste from ships" by rapporteur Spyros Spyridon (EL/EPP), and to participate in an exchange of views on the forthcoming opinion on "The Multiannual Financial Framework package for the years 2021-2027" by rapporteur Nikola Dobroslavić (HR/EPP), to be adopted at the following COTER meeting on 25 September in Brussels. There was also a presentation by the European Commission on the Legislative package on Cohesion Policy post-2020, followed by a debate with members.
