EU Solidarity with Ukraine: protecting people fleeing the war  

​An information session EU Solidarity with Ukraine: protecting people fleeing the war will be co-organised by the European Commission, Directorate General for Migration and Home Affairs and the Mission of Ukraine to the EU on Thursday ​19 May from 10h30 – 12h30. The session will be live-streamed and can be accessed directly via this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsGyY0x6jlo

The event will include experts from the European Commission, Diplomatic Missions, NGOs and civil society working with people fleeing the war and Ukrainian diaspora. Participants will have informal discussion with a focus on Temporary Protection of people fleeing the war and entering the EU, as well as on anti-trafficking in human beings, one of the key threats in EU countries and other practical aspects of proper integration of Ukrainians arrived in the EU.
