“The First EU-African SME conference, hosted by CoR, wants to focus on a promising new player in international economic cooperation for development: the Small and medium-sized companies in Africa and Europe. They can contribute massively to the economic development of African countries, becoming also the backbone of Africa's rising economy, as they are already in Europe. Attended by top-level policymakers and industry representatives, the EU-African SME Conference on March 21st afternoon, wants to back up the role of SMEs in the two continents, of companies working together for an intercontinental permanent collaboration”.
