The Czech Presidency of the Council invited RegHub to take part in the Council's Competitiveness and Growth working party dedicated to Better Regulation on 5 October 2022. RegHub was asked to present the section of the 2021 Annual Burden Survey on the European Commission's Fit for Future Platform, of which RegHub is a subgroup.

It was an excellent opportunity for the European Committee of the Regions to highlight its contributions to the Platform's opinions in 2021 and to demonstrate its added value for the EU's better regulation agenda. RegHub's presentation was well received by Member States' representatives and many expressed their appreciation for the CoR's work in this field. They stressed the importance of involving local and regional authorities and their stakeholders in the efforts to make EU policies future proof.​
