The European Commission (EC) and the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) have joined forces to organize a conference on the revision of the "Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive (UWWTD)", as a side event during the European Week of Regions and Cities, on 26 October 2021.
The Commission is reviewing a directive where municipalities and regions are the in first line when it comes to its implementation.
Both EC and CoR look forward to hosting a broad variety of stakeholders, representing NGOs, Member States, regional and local competent authorities, industry and European institutions. The conference will give a variety of perspectives on the Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive and provide insights into options for the future.
