​On 11 February 2019, the Committee of the Regions is hosting this year’s edition of the Coordinators meeting of the Urban Agenda for the EU chaired by the European Commission (DG REGIO). The Urban Agenda for the EU is a multi-level working method and institutional innovation promoting cooperation between Member States, cities, the European Commission and other stakeholders in order to develop actions targeting three pillars of EU policy-making and implementation: better regulation, better funding and better knowledge in different policy fields. The yearly meeting of the Coordinators of the Partnerships is a valuable opportunity to exchange and learn about experiences, discussing the development and implementation of actions part of Action Plans and reinforcing the urban dimension of EU and national policies and legislation.”
