EU Open Day
On Saturday 6 May 2023, EU institutions in Brussels opened their doors to the public. The European Committee of the Regions was also open from 10:00 to 18:00.
About 2.300 visitors could learn more about the institution that represents regions and cities in the EU and about what regional and local elected politicians do for them from the interactive stands presenting the role and activities of the European Committee of the Regions and its political groups. Short, entertaining and participative presentations about the Committee's role were offered on demand in English, Dutch, French, and German, throughout the day.
They could experience the diversity of skills, culture and traditions at the Festival of regions and cities, including tossing games, book creation, magical acts,some tastings, art education sessions, quizzes about European regions and emblematic capitals, and much more.
After this exciting journey, visitors could take a souvenir photo in the entrance hall of the building.
