On the 21st of November 2019, the ENVE commission will hold its 26th meeting in Brussels. On this occasion, there will be a Debate on the Resolution on "The green deal in partnership with local and regional authorities".
During the lunch break, the Transformative Action Award Ceremony will take place, including statements by Karl-Heinz LAMBERTZ, President of the European Committee of the Regions, Cor LAMERS, ENVE Chair and member of the Jury of the Transformative Action Award and Wolfgang TEUBNER, Regional Director Europe, Managing Director ICLEI European Secretariat.
During the afternoon session, the ENVE commission will adopt the draft opinion "Towards sustainable neighborhoods and small communities - Environment policy below municipal level", by the rapporteur Gaetano ARMAO (IT/EPP), Vice-President and Regional Minister for Economy of the Region of Sicily; the ENVE members will also discuss the CoR participation to the UNFCCC COP25 in Madrid.
