NAT logo

Il-Kummissjoni NAT tiġbor flimkien aktar minn 100 sindku, kunsillier u president reġjonali u tkopri firxa wiesgħa ta’ suġġetti relatati mal-iżvilupp rurali, is-saħħa, l-agrikoltura, il-forestrija, is-sajd, il-protezzjoni ċivili, il-protezzjoni tal-konsumatur u t-turiżmu.

L-Aġenda rurali għall-Ewropa u s-saħħa pubblika huma t-temi politiċi ewlenin fil-mandat attwali.

Dwar

Ġew identifikati żewġ oqsma ta’ politika ewlenin għall-mandat attwali, li huma marbutin mal-prijorità politika tal-istituzzjoni “Nibnu komunitajiet reżiljenti”:

1. Aġenda rurali għall-Ewropa

Il-KtR ilu żmien twil jitlob biex il-ħtiġijiet taż-żoni rurali jiġu rikonoxxuti u indirizzati permezz ta’ politika adegwata tal-UE. Sabiex iż-żoni rurali jsiru aktar attraenti bħala post fejn wieħed jgħix u jaħdem, jeħtieġ li tiġi miġġielda d-depopolazzjoni, li ż-żoni rurali jiġu konnessi mal-kurituri ewlenin tat-trasport tal-UE, tiġi garantita kopertura universali tal-broadband, u tingħata spinta lill-irkupru tagħhom permezz ta’ koordinazzjoni aħjar tal-Politika Agrikola Komuni, il-Fondi SIE, il-Faċilità għall-Irkupru u r-Reżiljenza u programmi ta’ finanzjament rilevanti oħra tal-UE.

Il-viżjoni fit-tul tal-Kummissjoni għaż-żoni rurali preżentata f’Ġunju 2021, għall-ewwel darba, tipprovdi qafas komprensiv biex jintlaħqu dawn l-għanijiet. Il-Kummissjoni NAT se tapplika wkoll il-verifika rurali għad-dossiers fil-mandati tagħha stess.

L-agrikoltura hija politika ewlenija li se tikkontribwixxi għall-implimentazzjoni tal-aġenda. Il-kwalità tal-prodotti agrikoli tal-UE hija waħda mill-valuri miżjuda prinċipali tal-PAK u waħda mill-assi ewlenin tal-UE fis-swieq internazzjonali. L-iskemi tal-kwalità implimentati b’mod kollettiv jagħmlu parti integrali mill-patrimonju kulturali, agrikolu u gastronomiku tal-Unjoni Ewropea. Dawn l-iskemi tal-kwalità jirrappreżentaw wirt kondiviż li hemm bżonn li jitħares u li jiġi żviluppat.

Il-Kummissjoni NAT issegwi mill-qrib l-implimentazzjoni tal-PAK il-ġdida fil-livell reġjonali.

Il-Kummissjoni NAT taħdem fuq agrikoltura reżiljenti u sostenibbli biex jintlaħqu l-objettivi tal-Patt Ekoloġiku u biex tissaħħaħ is-sigurtà tal-provvisti tal-ikel Ewropej, speċjalment fi żminijiet ta’ kriżi u nuqqas ta’ provvisti tal-ikel.

2. Unjoni Ewropea tas-Saħħa

Minkejja l-kisbiet tar-reġjuni u l-bliet fil-ġlieda kontra l-pandemija, ir-rwol tagħhom fil-bini tar-reżiljenza tas-saħħa tal-Ewropa fil-biċċa l-kbira mhuwiex rikonoxxut. II-kampanji ta’ tilqim, l-iskrinjar tal-kanċer, it-tħejjija u r-rispons, ir-reżiljenza tas-sistemi tas-saħħa, l-informazzjoni u l-edukazzjoni dwar is-saħħa huma biss uħud mill-oqsma ewlenin fejn il-politika u l-prattika reġjonali jagħmlu d-differenza. Il-promozzjoni ta’ rwol aktar viżibbli għar-reġjuni fl-Unjoni Ewropea tas-Saħħa u l-pilastri tagħha hija l-objettiv ewlieni tal-ħidma tan-NAT.

Il-Kummissjoni NAT tmexxi l-kontribut tal-KtR b’rabta mal-Pjattaforma tal-Konferenza dwar il-Futur tal-Ewropa.

F’kooperazzjoni mill-qrib mal-pjattaformi tar-RegHub u Fit4Future, in-NAT taħdem ukoll fuq il-kooperazzjoni transfruntiera fil-kura tas-saħħa, li hija prijorità sensittiva ħafna, speċjalment fi żminijiet ta’ kriżi u emerġenza tas-saħħa/umanitarja f’xi reġjuni tal-fruntiera.

Il-Kummissjoni għar-Riżorsi Naturali – NAT – tkopri l-politiki li ġejjin:

1.Żvilupp rurali

2.Saħħa pubblika

3.Politika agrikola u ikel

4.Forestrija

5.Protezzjoni ċivili

6.Turiżmu

7.Protezzjoni tal-konsumatur

8.Politika marittima – ekonomija blu u sajd
