FutureLab EU - Cross-border citizen dialogue on the Future of Europe and its local implications on the Greater Region - session 1

Over two days at the end of November, young people from Esch-sur-Alzette (LU), Saarbrücken (DE) and Nancy and Colombey-les-Belles (FR) will come together over two online sessions to discuss the future of Europe and its impact on their wider region.

During the first session, on 24/11 from 16:00 to 19:00, the young people will bring their different cultural backgrounds and experiences together to develop innovative ideas and proposals for Europe on the specific topics of labour market digitalisation, and building a social Europe.

In the second session, on 26/11 from 18:30 to 20:30, the participants will present their proposals to regional politicians and topic experts, and debate the ideas with them.

The final recommendations will be fed into the Conference on the Future of Europe.

The second session on 26/11 will be streamed live in both French and German - links to the livestreams will be posted on this page just before the event.

This event is a collaboration between the Europe Direct offices in Saarbrücken, the University of Luxembourg, Lorraine Grand Est and Territoires Lorrains, and is supported by the joint project between the Bertelsmann Stiftung and the European Committee of the Regions.
