​​The European Committee of the Regions invites you to take part in the virtual workshop "Sustainable rural entrepreneurship" taking place on 21 October 2020 from 14:30 to 16:00 on the web.

Based on success stories from the three shores of the Mediterranean, the workshop will explore how policymakers can best address challenges to entrepreneurial development in rural areas, including the impact of the Coronavirus crisis, and foster environments in which entrepreneurs can thrive. By creating a dialogue between regions and cities, entrepreneurs and civil society, the workshop will identify good practices to support entrepreneurs in sparsely populated areas, tap into the entrepreneurial capacity of women and young people, and harness the business potential of traditional sectors.
