ECON logo

Ekonominės politikos komisija (ECON) koordinuoja savo narių indėlį ekonominės ir pramonės politikos klausimais, pavyzdžiui, konkurencijos ir valstybės pagalbos politika, viešieji pirkimai, MVĮ politika ir verslumas, ekonomikos valdymas ir Europos semestras, darnaus vystymosi tikslai (DVT), vidaus rinka ir bendroji skaitmeninė rinka. Jos veikla taip pat apima ekonominę ir pinigų politiką, mokesčių politiką, tarptautinę prekybą ir tarifus (įskaitant PPO klausimus) bei vietos ir (arba) regionų finansus.

Apie

ECON komisijos sekretoriatas taip pat atsakingas už Verslaus Europos regiono (VER) apdovanojimus, kurie teikiami ES regionams, turintiems patikimiausią, perspektyviausią ir daugiausiai žadančią viziją bei inovatyvią verslumo politikos strategiją.

ECON komisija yra atsakinga už Regioninių centrų tinklą ES politikos įgyvendinimui įvertinti („RegHub“). „RegHub“ yra platforma, kurioje konsultuojamasi su vietos ir regionų subjektais norint sužinoti apie jų patirtį įgyvendinant ES politiką.

ECON komisija administruoja bendrą Europos regionų komiteto (RK) ir Europos Komisijos iniciatyvą – plačiajuosčio ryšio platformą, kuria siekiama užtikrinti, kad sparčiu plačiajuosčiu ryšiu galėtų naudotis visi Europos regionai.

Be to, ECON komisija atlieka vadovaujamąjį ir koordinuojamąjį vaidmenį palaikant RK ir Europos investicijų banko (EIB) grupės, kuri apima daug įvairių veiksmų ir politikos sričių, ryšius.
