The European Green Week 2021 focused on the 'zero pollution ambition'. It also looked at other relevant European Green Deal initiatives, such the climate initiatives, the Chemicals Strategy, as well as initiatives in the field of energy, industry, mobility, agriculture, fisheries, health and biodiversity.This year, eight members of the European Committee of the Regions took part in different panels of the EU Green Week, three of them co-organized by the CoR, to discuss how to achieve the target of zero pollution.In particular, on 11 June, the CoR organized a partner event with the European region of Tyrol – South Tyrol – Trentino on the "Rural and urban challenges in developing regional zero-pollution plans".
