​​International Democracy Day Brussels is an event organised each September to mark the UN International Day of Democracy.

This conference is jointly organized by European Endowment for Democracy (EED), European Network of Political Foundations (ENoP), European Partnership for Democracy (EPD), Carnegie Europe and the Office of the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) to the EU, are non-governmental and inter-governmental organizations dedicated to promoting democracy and democratic values in Europe and beyond.

This year's conference “An era of democratic unrest" brings together civil society activists and policymakers from across the world to talk about current issues linked with democracy, such as how the global decline of democracy and the rise of authoritarianism worldwide have been met with a new wave of civic activism.
