On 29 March 2023, ENVE Chair Rafal Trzaskowski and Martin Horn, Mayor of Freiburg and President of ICLEI Europe and have presented the CoR-ICLEI action plan 2023-2024.
The action plan has been designed with the aim to facilitate cooperation between the CoR and ICLEI and to promote their shared goals and objectives with respect to climate policies, biodiversity, regional development and citizens' engagement.
The action plan formalises fruitful years of cooperation with ICLEI within the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding.
ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability is a global network of more than 2500 local and regional governments committed to sustainable urban development, active in 125+ countries.
