The European Committee of the Regions and the European Commission are pleased to invite you to this seminar organised in the framework of their Knowledge Exchange Platform.

The event will take place on Thursday, 15 June 2023, from 09:30 to 13:00, physically at the CoR, in Brussels.

You can see the agenda here.

The objective of the renewed KEP 2.0 initiative is to enable the exchange of new R&I solutions and best practices, by organizing horizontal seminars in Brussels, and promoting so-called peer-to-peer and showcasing events on the ground. It allows for an efficient dialogue and transfer of expertise on R&I issues with European cities and regions, businesses, universities and citizens.

The participants of this event will be updated on the state-of-play of the different aspects of Open Science and on how it delivers solutions to major societal challenges. Open Science allows for transparent and more robust research methodologies. It increases the quality and impact of science by fostering its reproducibility and interdisciplinarity. It makes science more efficient through the better sharing of resources, more reliable through better verification and more responsive to society's needs.

Should you wish to participate, please REGISTER HERE in your earliest convenience. (Registration is compulsory for those without an EU badge to access the building.)

Reimbursement will unfortunately not be possible for this attendance.

Interpretation will be provided in: EN, FR, DE, ES, IT.

We look forward to welcoming you in the audience!

Kind regards,
