Pathbreaking examples of cooperation, mutualisation and solidarity in urban and rural areas, promoted jointly by cities/regions and the social economy
The objective of the event is to showcase a diversity of initiatives set up jointly by social economy organisations and cities/regions. Examples will cover fields such as community management of public spaces, the promotion of (energy) school cooperatives, new forms of citizen participation or integration of migrants and refugees. Moreover, representatives from different European and international organisations, civil society networks and European institutions will share their thoughts on how to give partnerships between cities/regions and the social and solidarity economy the place they deserve on the (future) European policy agenda.
