On the occasion of Europe Day, the Representation of the European Commission, in partnership with the City of Paris and the European Parliament Office in France, organised a series of events and activities in Paris to put Europe at the forefront and strengthen the local and regional dimension of European issues. This year, and following the invasion of Ukraine, this event took on another dimension. The focus was on what makes up Europe, and in particular our common values.
The European Committee of the Regions participated in the programming of these activities and contributed to Europe Day through a stand in the "institutions" area of the event. As the voice of regions and cities in the European Union, the CoR will showcased its contribution to the Future of Europe, the European Green Deal as well as Economic, Social and Territorial Cohesion.
