​Your job and responsibilities​

Do you want to exchange best practices in the field of personal data protection with an EU institution?
Are you a civil servant or a statutory agent of a public administration in an EU Member State (national, regional or local) or in a public intergovernmental organization (IGO)?

Seize this unique opportunity and consider a 6-month secondment to the European Committee of the Regions!

We are a small and dynamic team inside the HR Directorate of the European Committee of the Regions, an EU institution based in Brussels. We are dealing with legal advising in the HR domain as well as personal data protection for the whole institution. We are looking for an official or statutory agent from an EU Member's state administration (national, regional or local) or public intergovernmental organization (IGO), having a legal profile and a strong interest in the field of personal data protection, who would work with us for six months as a seconded national expert (SNE). We offer a unique opportunity to gain experience in an EU institution and exchange best practices in the field of personal data protection.​
