At the launch of 2017 edition of “The State of Housing in the EU”, Housing Europe would like to put the emphasis on the state of play of investment in affordable housing, as one of the key areas of social infrastructures.

The flagship publication of the Housing Europe Observatory -which will be presented during the event- highlights in detail the link between national and relevant EU policies in tackling affordability issues.

In addition, the conference will give an opportunity to reflect on the overall situation of the housing sector (with an emphasis on social, cooperative and public housing) in the continent, providing detailed statistics on the latest housing trends in a cross-country observation.
