​​The 19th COTER commission meeting (external) will take place on Friday 23 June 2023 from 08:30 to 12:30 (Sibiu time) at the Ramada Hotel Sibiu (Atlass Conference room).

The meeting will be fully presential.

At this COTER meeting, Members will be voting the following Opinions:

• " European Cross-Border Mechanism 2.0", by rapporteur Ms. Magali ALTOUNIAN (FR/renew E);

• " A Drone Strategy 2.0", by rapporteur Mr. Władysław ORTYL (PL/ECR)

• "A Just and Sustainable Transition for Automotive Regions", by rapporteur Mr. Sven SCHULZE (DE/EPP)

During this meeting, there will also be exchanges of views on the following opinion:

• The future of Cohesion Policy post-2027, by rapporteurs Vasco ALVES CORDEIRO (PT/PES) and Emil BOC (RO/EPP)

In the afternoon of 22 June, the COTER Members will also have the opportunity to participate in the COTER Conference "Cohesion, our fundamental value for the future of Europe: regions and cities for a Strong Recovery and a Just Transition".

This external meeting will also include a visit to the Astra Open Air Museum in Sibiu and a visit to the Mercedes plant in Sebeş.
