Stakeholder consultation - ITI opinion
The European Committee of the Regions is drafting an opinion on "Integrated Territorial Investments – a challenge for EU Cohesion policy after 2020".
One of several integrated financing instruments introduced at the start of the current MFF, Integrated Territorial Investments (ITI) were the subject of a joint CoR/European Commission workshop in March 2017 and of a follow-up workshop organised by an official partnership of regions implementing 'thematic ITIs'.
The opinion in preparation will build i.a. on the conclusions of the workshops and outline LRAs' experience with the implementation of ITIs to date and possibilities for future development of the ITI approach at urban level and more widely as a new approach to regional development.

The Rapporteur and Chair of the COTER commission, Mr Petr Osvald, would be happy to meet with representatives of the associations of local and regional authorities and other stakeholders for a consultation and exchange of views on this topic in order to reflect the stakeholders views in the preparation of the opinion.

The consultation will take place on:

Thursday 23 November 2017, 9.00 – 11.00
at the premises of the European Committee of the Regions
(Rue Belliard 99-101, 1040 Bruxelles)
Room JDE 61

The Rapporteur would be very keen to hear your views during the meeting. In addition, if you have any written positons on experience with ITI in the current MFF and suggestions for future improvements, please send them to us by email.

The meeting will take place in English and Czech, the Rapporteur's language.
