On 28 December 2020 the Research and Education Building Urban Institutions for Local Development (REBUILD) project was signed and processed by its European partners together with Libyan co-applying municipalities.
This four year contract of 4,2 million EUR will allow a continuation of the continuous learning strand of the Nicosia initi ative for Libyan municipalities for the next four years as well as increasing employability by improving performance in specific economic sectors such as fishery.
The signature not only means a recognition and appreciation of all the
work put into this by and with our partners in the past years, but sends a
great signal for continuing and stepping up our joint efforts in the future.
