Covid-19-pandemialla on merkittäviä vaikutuksia Euroopan talouksiin. Euroopan alueiden komitean ECON-valiokunta laatii säännöllisesti talousalan tiedotteita tuoreista tutkimuksista, artikkeleista ja keskusteluista, jotka koskevat pandemian sosioekonomisia vaikutuksia Euroopassa sekä EU-, jäsenvaltio-, alue- ja paikallistasolla suunniteltuja ja toteutettuja erilaisia taloudellisia vastatoimia.
