European sovereignty in question
In the context of the French Presidency of the European Union and the Conference on the Future of Europe, the House of Europe Le Mans-Sarthe/EUROPE DIRECT and the city of Coulaines are holding a meeting in these tense times, to discuss the construction of the sovereignty of the European Union.
Join the Citizens’ Conference “Defence, Energy, Industry, Food... How to build European sovereignty?” on Friday 1 April at 18:00 in room Henri Salvador in Coulaines.
There will be a broad look at the sovereignty of the European Union. How is it organised today? What reflections and projects need to emerge from the war in Ukraine? How should the European institutions and citizens organise themselves to preserve their way of life?
Parrticipants to the debate will be :
- Adina Revol, spokesperson for the Representation of the European Commission in France
- Christophe Rouillon, mayor of Coulaines and Member of the European Committee of the Regions
- Yanne Boloh, journalist specialised in agricultural matters and moderator of the debate
The evening will end with a drink to European friendship.
