EU cities and regions at COP27

The 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 27) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will take place from 6 to 18 November 2022 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.

As part of the delegation of the European Union and member of the LGMA (Local Governments and Municipal Authorities) constituency, which represents local governments and municipalities worldwide, the European Committee of the Regions will be attending COP27 to continue advocating a formal role for subnational governments in international climate governance and the implementation of the Paris Agreement.
