From pandemic to recovery: challenges and best practices in migration
European Migration Forum
is a platform for dialogue between civil society and European institutions
on issues related to migration, asylum and migrant integration. The aim of
the EMF is to enhance coordination and cooperation between key players
involved in the multilevel European governance of migration.
The 6th edition of the Forum under the overarching theme
"From pandemic to recovery: challenges and best practices in
will in particular focus on the digital divide and digital disadvantage of
migrants, access to education for migrant children, safe legal pathways for
those in need of international protection and how to maximise their
integration in hosting societies.
This event is co-organised by the European Commission and the European
Economic and Social Committee and will take place on 27-28 October 2021 virtually.

Local and regional authorities can apply to participate at this event
through the European Committee of the Regions
. If your LRA would like to participate, please
send no later than 12 September 2021 an email to the CoR CIVEX commission secretariat (cc: email@example.com)
expressing your interest. Please note the number of places is limited and
the final list of participants will be approved by the Forum organiser.
