CoR-OECD-SDSN survey: The role of cities and regions for the SDGs in an uncertain geopolitical context

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) are launching a survey to take stock of the progress made by cities and regions in implementing the SDGs, assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak on the SDGs and analyse how current crises such as the war in Ukraine are affecting the work on the SDGs and in particular the areas of energy and food, which emerged as political priorities in the current context.

Your participation in the survey will help showcase the continuous commitment of regions and cities on SDGs and provide guidance on how to use the SDGs to respond to an uncertain geopolitical context and its impacts on the cost-of-living, energy and food.

This survey will also support the OECD Programme on a Territorial Approach to the SDGs. Its results will be used to produce an OECD-SDSN policy paper and a CoR map showcasing the commitment of EU regions and cities on SDGs. These will contribute to the UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development and the SDG Summit.

This survey is targeted to sub-national governments only (local, provincial, metropolitan, regional). It should take you 15 minutes to complete. It is a follow-up to previous surveys conducted by the CoR and the OECD on the localisation of the SDGs.

The survey is available in all EU languages; to select your preferred language, click on the drop-down menu on the right of the screen

START THE SURVEY!

The survey is open until 24 March midnight.

All responses will be kept confidential.
