The CoR would like to inform its valued members that the URBACT call for Action Planning Networks is open. The URBACT call for Action Planning Networks offers cities the opportunity to work together and co-create integrated solutions to their urban challenges.
With this call, URBACT invites cities of all sizes from the EU, Norway, Switzerland, but also cities from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia to join forces and apply from 9 January to 31 March 2023.
An Action Planning Network is the right fit for your city if you want to:
- Get inspired by other cities across Europe
- Develop and implement actions in response to your local challenges
- Strengthen your skills in participatory and integrated policy-making
- Make a difference at local level
As part of an approved network and for 2,5 years you will be working with other European cities to develop and test solutions to your common challenges, while benefitting from funding for exchange and learning activities, and from expert support, hands on trainings, participative tools, good practices, thematic knowledge and, overall, the URBACT Method. As result of this journey, you will develop an Integrated Action Plan with the help of local stakeholders (URBACT Local Group).
