The Digital Cities Challenge is an initiative of coaching launched by the European Commission. It currently helps over 40 European cities develop and implement policies for economic growth while harnessing the benefits of Advanced Technologies. The cities are setting a digital vision and ambition, strategy, roadmap and monitoring framework and prepare to act as models for other cities who may follow, showcasing the European diversity due to their individual cultural and economic fabric. The active participation in the Digital Cities Challenge can help cities to achieve their ambitions, to foster synergies and be part of an innovative network that can boost the European digital transformation and create growth, productivity and well-being. Now half- way through the Challenge the Mayors of these cities will meet to exchange, get inspired, foster synergies and commit for the digital transformation and growth of their cities!
