On 3 September 2018, the ECA has published a Landscape Review on Putting EU Law into Practice that describes and analyses the European Commission’s oversight of the application of EU Law by Member States under Article 17(1) of the Treaty on European Union. The ECA highlights how the Commission has responded to the challenges stemming from a complex legal landscape at EU and Member State level and sets out a range of considerations for how the Commission could further address the challenges and seize the opportunities for improvement.
This Landscape Review will be a key basis for discussion at the Conference of Monday 24 September 2018 at the Committee of the Regions in Brussels.
