Summer Camps initiative: 2024
The European Committee of the Regions, along with EU cities and regions and in cooperation with the Association of Ukrainian Cities, is committed to keeping up the summer camps initiative in 2024.
Building on the experience of previous years, the European Committee of the Regions and the Association of Ukrainian Cities have prepared support materials (see the documents section below), which contain practical tips outlining the steps that local and regional authorities are advised to follow when organising a summer holiday project for Ukrainian children.
The European Committee of the Regions and the Association of Ukrainian Cities will be holding an online informative session on how to organise summer camps on 24 April from 10:30 to 12:00 CET. This session will bring together local and regional authorities that have already hosted Ukrainian children and are keen to share their experience and practical insights on how to get started and run a successful summer camps project. The session will be held in English.
