Isabelle Boudineau re-elected as President of the COTER commission  

​​​​​Isabelle Boudineau (PES/FR), Vice-President of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region in charge of European and international affairs was re-elected President of the Commission for Territorial Cohesion Policy and EU Budget (COTER) at the Committee's constitutive meeting on 13 February. She will chair the COTER commission's work for the next 2.5 years.

The remits of the Commission for Territorial Cohesion Policy and EU Budget (COTER) cover following policies: economic, social and territorial cohesion, structural funds and spatial planning, urban policy and housing, transport and trans-European transport networks, macro-regions, territorial cooperation, and Regional statistics and indicator, annual EU budget, multiannual financial framework, and local and regional finances.

Isabelle Boudineau reacts to her re-election: "I am honored by the confidence that has been given to me again by my colleagues from across the European Union. This great honor goes hand in hand with a great responsibility: that of making in so that the European Union will have a well-funded cohesion policy for all European regions from 2021.
