The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) is drafting an opinion on "Creative Europe and A New European Agenda for Culture" with rapporteur
János Ádám Karácsony (HU/EPP), Member of Tahitótfalu Council.
The rapporteur on the opinion would be happy to meet with representatives of local and regional associations and other stakeholders for a consultation and an exchange of views on the subjects of this CoR Opinion.
The following proposals by the European Commission are concerned:
- Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing the
Creative Europe programme (2021-2027) and repealing Regulation (EU) No 1295/2013, COM(2018) 366 final
- Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament, the European Council, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions on
A New European Agenda for Culture, COM(2018) 267 final
The consultation will take place on Tuesday 11 September 2018 at 10.00 am, in the Committee of the Regions main building (Rue Belliard 99-101, B-1040 Brussels), Room JDE 51.
The rapporteur is very keen to hear stakeholders views during the meeting. After a short introduction by the rapporteur, stakeholders will be invited to exchange views with the rapporteur.
