The Future of Europe survey was created by the European Committee of the Regions to find out what people thought about the European Union, its role, function and its future challenges.

The survey is now closed, but interim results are available on this page whilst the full results are being analysed.​​

927 responses were received from when the survey was launched on Europe Day (9 May 2021) and when it closed at the end of January 2022.

The final results are currently being analysed, and once this is complete, they will be fed into the Conference on the Future of Europe and also published on this page.

In the meantime, the graphics below show some of the interim results of the survey. In most cases, the statistics are available both as overall figures and also broken down by EU country.​
