CoR collection

Our multilingual collection (around 10.000 volumes) is focused on federalism, regionalism, the principle of subsidiarity as well as the areas of mandatory consultation: economic and social cohesion, trans-European infrastructure networks, health, education, culture, employment policy, social policy, vocational training, environment and transport.

We have also at your disposal around 360 periodicals regarding the different fields of activity of the Committee of the Regions. These can be consulted in paper version at the library reading room and/or online.


Aiming at providing fast access to information and answering your information requests, we have placed

  • pcs and wi-fi connection
  • services as loans, photocopies, etc.
  • assistance in your information search by qualified staff

Who can use the library?

  • Civil servants, temporary agents and trainees from any EU institution, organ or agency
  • External visitors

External visitors

The CoR's library is also open to specialists and researchers (professionals, staff from regional offices, civil servants from EU member countries, university students, etc.) who wish to consult any publication available.

Before visiting the library, external visitors must first contact the library staff.

Please note that external visitors are not entitled to borrow publications and may only consult works on the spot.
