______________

The province North-Holland, the House of the Dutch Provinces, Pakhuis de Zwijger and the European Committee of the Regions, will hold an event in Amsterdam on 16 November to reflect on the outcome of the C0P26, raise public and political awareness about the EU’s climate ambitions and investrnent opportunities, and showcase Noord-Holland’s vision for the energy transition.

It is with urgency that together we must drive green sustainable growth in all of Europe’s regions and cities to ensure recovery from the pandemic and tackling the climate emergency. The European Union’s local and regional governments support the European Green Deal’s necessary ambition to deliver climate-neutrality. It will need unprecedented levels of investment, strong political leadership and the mobilisation of our communities to make the transformative shift to deliver this green industrial revolution.

More information about the event is available on the webpage of Pakhuis de Zwijger.
