SEDEC - Stakeholders' consultation on "Demographic change: proposals on measuring and tackling its negative effects in the EU regions"  

​​​​The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) is drafting an opinion on "Demographic change: proposals on measuring and tackling its negative effects in the EU regions". This is an opinion meant to provide feedback for the upcoming action plan for regions affected by demographic change, as it is specified in Commissioner Dubravka ŠUICA's mission letter by the European Commission President.

The rapporteur of the opinion, Mr János Ádám KARÁCSONY (HU/EPP), Representative of local government of Village Tahitótfalu, together with his expert, Mr András PÁRI​​, would be happy to meet with representatives of your organisation and other important stakeholders for a consultation and an exchange of views on the relevant topics of this opinion to gather the different points of views and discuss the main issues.

The consultation will take place on:

Wednesday, 15 January 2020 between 10.30 and 12.00
at the European Committee of the Regions
​(Rue Belliard 99-101, B-1040 Brussels)
Room JDE 70

The rapporteur would be very keen to hear your views during the meeting. After a short introduction by the rapporteur, stakeholders will be invited to exchange views with the rapporteur.
