The Region of Umbria is showing the exhibition Diventi Umbria in the Committee of the Regions.  

The photo exhibition describes the 20 years of reconstruction in Umbria after the 1997 earthquake. Most of the reconstruction works have been financed by the European Structural Funds.  

The exhibition will also have a special focus on the ongoing reconstruction procedures for the "Basilicata" of San Benedetto of Norcia, which was destroyed by the 2017 earthquake that hit the Centre of Italy. In October 2018, the Umbria Region will launch an international call for tenders for the reconstruction of the "Basilicata" of San Benedetto of Norcia.

LIMITED ACCESS: For security reasons, exhibitions in the CoR are only accessible to visitors carrying a badge granting them permanent access to the CoR (e.g. EU officials), or carrying a special badge as a participant to another event (conference or meeting) held on the CoR premises. No access will be granted to external visitors who do not carry a relevant badge. To obtain such a badge, you must be either an EU official or a registered participant at one of the activities or events taking place in the CoR.
