Knowledge Exchange Platform (KEP 2.0) workshop – Youth involvement in European R&I policies and the role of regions and cities

The European Committee of the Regions and the European Commission are pleased to invite you to the second Knowledge Exchange Platform (KEP) event of the year. The workshop will take place in the framework of the European Week of Regions and Cities, and also linked to the  European Year of Youth 2022 initiative. It will be held on Tuesday 11 October 2022, from 11:30 to 13:00 (right before the Plenary Session), in an online format. You can see more details and register here. (Please note that reimbursement will unfortunately not be possible specifically for this attendance.)

The renewed KEP 2.0 initiative aims the exchange of new R&I solutions and best practices, by organizing horizontal seminars in Brussels, and promoting so-called peer-to-peer and showcasing events organised on the ground. It allows for an efficient dialogue and transfer of expertise on R&I issues with European cities and regions, businesses, universities and citizens.

Research and innovation play a key role in responding to our societal challenges. Their achievements have a direct impact on people's lives. Involving citizens, especially the youth, is essential to shape R&I's future. It is hence necessary to provide young generations the opportunity to become engaged. Local and regional authorities play a key role in this process. The workshop will present concrete projects and experiences from young innovators and entrepreneurs.

Should you wish to participate in this event, please REGISTER HERE. Looking forward to welcoming you in our audience!
