Call for expression of interest: 7th meeting of the European Migration Forum  
​​ "Youth inclusion: key to successful migrant integration"

The European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee are launching the call for expression of interest to participate to the 7th meeting of the European Migration Forum, which will take place on 20-21 October 2022 in Brussels . The European Migration Forum is a platform for dialogue between civil society and the European institutions on issues relating to migration, asylum and the integratio n of non-EU country nationals.

The 7th EMF meeting will focus on the topic of youth inclusion and will in particular address: young migrants’ access to education and training ; specific challenges and measures regarding integration of young refugees ; legal migration: youth mobility, both in the context of education and labour mobility of young people; advancing participation and engagement of young migrants .

The event will have an interactive, participatory approac h. The core of the event will consist of workshops, discussion islands and other opportunities to participate in the debate. All participants will be expected to contribute to discussions and work in groups. Interpretation in several languages will be provided for some sessions but the working language in workshop sessions will be English and it is therefore highly recommended that participants have a good command of English.
