The 18th meeting of the COTER commission was held on 27 April 2018 in Brussels.

COTER members were invited to discuss and adopt three draft opinions at the meeting: "Delivering on low emission mobility" by rapporteur Michiel Scheffer (NL/ALDE), "Boosting growth and cohesion in EU border regions"  by rapporteur János Ádám Karácsony (HU/EPP) and "Implementation Assessment of the Urban Agenda for the EU" by rapporteur Kieran McCarthy (IE/EA). Members were also invited to participate in an exchange views on the forthcoming opinion that would be adopted at the next COTER meeting on 6-7 June in Sofia:   "Clean Ports, Clean Seas - Port reception facilities for the delivery of waste from ships" which was presented by rapporteur Spyros Spyridon (EL/EPP).
