EuroPCom 2023: Communicating Democracy - Communicating Europe

The 14th edition of EuroPCom – the European Public Communication Conference will take place in a hybrid format in the afternoon on Monday 26 June and in the morning on Tuesday 27 June 2023.

Under the slogan "Communicating Democracy – Communicating Europe", communication experts from local, regional, national and European level will share their best practices when it comes to successful communication strategies, and discuss how to get citizens engaged, especially ahead of the 2024 European elections. They will also look at how disinformation is affecting democracy, and how open data solutions can empower citizens, among other topical issues.

In a packed programme over two half-days, the EuroPCom community will reflect on the major issues of relevance to the conference theme of European Democracy.

The Opening session takes place in the European Parliament Hemicycle, with the rest of the programme following in the headquarters of the European Committee of the Regions. The working sessions are being web-streamed for the online participants. The registered onsite participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy networking opportunities and explore the EuroPCom marketplace, at which institutions and organisations will showcase a wide range of exciting projects and success stories.

EuroPCom is organised by the European Committee of the Regions in close cooperation with the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union, the European Investment Bank, the Economic and Social Committee and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
