Stakeholder consultation on "Do no harm to Cohesion - A cross-cutting principle contributing towards cohesion as an overall objective and value of the EU "  

The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) is drafting an opinion on "Do no harm to Cohesion - A cross-cutting principle contributing towards cohesion as an overall objective and value of the EU".

The Rapporteur for this opinion, Mr. Michiel RIJSBERMAN (NL/Renew E.), Member of the Council of the Province of Flevoland, together with his expert, Ms. Sidony VENEMA, would be delighted to meet representatives of local and regional associations and other stakeholders for a consultation and an exchange of views on the relevant topics of this opinion.

The consultation will take place on 7 February 2023 between 16.00 and 17.30 in room JDE 63, at the premises of the European Committee of the Regions (Rue Belliard 99-101, B-1040 Brussels), and online (via TEAMS).

The Rapporteur would be very keen to hear your views during the meeting. After a short introduction by the rapporteur, stakeholders will be invited to exchange views with the Rapporteur.

The meeting will be held in English.

To shape the debate, a set of preliminary questions has been drafted in the working paper.

Please note that in order to reduce paper waste, the CoR will not provide paper copies of documents for the meeting.
