The members of the European Committee of the Regions met in the 128th plenary session on the 22nd to 23rd March.
Ten opinions were on the agenda of this plenary session.
On the first day, members debated on the integration of migrants and social cohesion with Mr Dimitris Avramopoulos, Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship, Ms Laura Thompson, Deputy Director General of the International Organization for Migration, Ms Anila Noor, Representative of the European Migrant Advisory Board, and Mr Matthieu Le Grelle, co-founder of Duo for a job. Later on the day, Commissioner Johannes Hahn and members discussed the EU enlargement to the Western Balkans.
On Friday 23rd March, Mr Jan Olbricht, MEP, rapporteur of the European Parliament on the Multiannual Financial Framework, joined CoR's assembly to debate on expectations of local and regional authorities in the EU towards the next MFF.
