Scope of funding under AMIF, ESF+ and ERDF
About the event
On 19 March 2021, the European Commission and the European Committee of the Regions launched a new
partnership to increase cooperation and support for EU cities, regions and rural areas for their work helping to integrate new arrivals. The partnership builds on well‑established cooperation between the two institutions under the
Cities and Regions for Integration of Migrants network, which was launched by the European Committee of the Regions in 2019, and follows on from the Action Plan on Integration and Inclusion 2021‑2027. The Action Plan also provides for more opportunities for funding Member States' crosscutting actions in integration and inclusion under the 2021-2027 Multi-Annual Financial Framework (MFF).
While local authorities have put in place many successful and innovative practices for integration, they still face challenges in accessing funding, data and knowledge for their measures and programmes in the field of integration and inclusion. The objective of this debate on
Supporting EU cities and regions by funding inclusive communities through the new MFF (europa.eu)
is to facilitate access to and understanding of the available funds, as well as to share and exchange good practices of our members.
The debate will take place on
28 September 2021 from 15:30 to 16:30
in the framework of the
9th meeting of the CIVEX commission.
